1. Understanding the Agreement
By accessing the services provided by GRAIN STORAGE CORPORATION, INC., located at P.O. BOX 305, Sturgis, KY, you're agreeing to be bound by these Terms of Service. This includes all applicable laws and regulations regarding freight transportation and warehousing. If you don't agree with any of these terms, you're unfortunately prohibited from using our logistics platform.
2. Use License and Web Access
Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of the materials (information or software) on GRAIN STORAGE CORPORATION, INC.'s website for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title. Under this license, you may not:
- Modify or copy the proprietary logistics tracking materials;
- Use the materials for any commercial purpose or public display;
- Attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on the site;
- Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations.
3. Freight Handling & Liability
We pride ourselves on delivery precision. However, it's important to understand the biological and mechanical risks inherent in global transit. GRAIN STORAGE CORPORATION, INC. acts as a forwarding agent and warehouseman. Our liability for loss or damage is strictly limited to the values declared at the time of booking. Did you know that standard carrier limits often fall short of full cargo value? We highly recommend supplemental insurance for high-value forwarding.
4. Warehousing & Storage Fees
All goods stored in our Sturgis facility are subject to daily storage charges unless otherwise specified in your routing guide. We maintain a general lien on any property being handled for any sums due to us. This is standard industry practice. We're here to keep your supply chain moving, not to hold your inventory hostage, but timely payments keep the lights on in the warehouse.
5. Governing Law
Any claim relating to GRAIN STORAGE CORPORATION, INC.'s services shall be governed by the laws of the State of Kentucky without regard to its conflict of law provisions. We believe in resolving disputes through professional mediation before pursuing formal legal channels.
